You can get an HID kit from DDM Tuning for way cheap. All you have to do is angle your headlight housing down a bit so you don't blind oncoming drivers
There's no way to "point" your headlights down far enough to compensate for hid's. Even if there was you'd have no output in front of you. Just because tons of people jump off a cliff doesn't mean you should too. On a motorcycle is the last place you'll want to blind an oncoming driver...
Edit: HK45 is probably the only person you should listen to here if you want to improve your headlights output properly.
Maybe I had you guys pegged all wrong. I thought you all did things the right way and not half assed. But I guess some of you put Chinese levers on your track bikes. Jokers got jokes.
The output on my bike is terrible but I don't really ride at night so it's not a big deal. If I did a good amount of commuting on it id definitely get it retrofitted.
If youre willing to pay for it, the low beam HID kit i bought from GixxerBoys is stupid bright, i dont have a use for my high beam anymore. Well worth the purchase.
I have a 2007 Gsxr 1000 the light is a bit on the bad side for night riding which we do from time to time. Any suggestions to get it better? or to fit an HID kit?
Putting a HID kit in your stock headlight will not improve the output. It will make the road a lot brighter 40 feet in front of you; but will decrease your distance output making it more dangerous for yourself.
