88kg = 194#. Likely need a 10kg/mm spring as what I am using. Your race to static difference is too high. Breakin? To my knowledge top out springs not normally used on road shock, only forks, some offroad shocks and oldstyle dual shocks.
What did you end up using for preload? Is your shock the 5030 (hose preload,) or newer 5031(preload bolted on body, )? I have 5030 on race bike( last sag 16mm static/32mm race, was still pushing a bit on corner exits but may be front issue) , 5031 on street (forget last sags) , will confirm settings. I am about 200 lbs suited up.
I have bought a 9,5 spring, will fit it next week to try.
Front is so much better now with the 25mm kit ! but i'm thinking it s more longer than stock fork, i'm more on the rear of the bike especially mid cornered entry.
I had that shock on my K6 and used to run a -34 100N/mm ohlins spring. I weigh 15 stone (210 lbs) when nekkid 1st thing in the morning. I reckon you need a -31 95N/mm for your weight
