My Project GSXR is DONE! For now.

Started with a barely running 2002 Gsxr 600 stunt bike and got what you see below. All the work was done by me. May not fit everyone's taste but I really enjoy it.

Stat sheet:
02 Gsxr 600
02 Hayabusa welded extented Swing arm
05 1000 complete front ended
04-05 Complete Fairing swap
06 Gsxr seat
Gold powder coated wheels
Flat Black powder coated Frame and swing arm
All the fairings and tank wrapped in Matte Green (Icon Wrapz)http://www.facebook.com/IconWrapz

I like the color and the headlight tint.

Bullets!

Gold rims look good with that color combo. Not my style, but well done.

Confuses vag for cock... That would be "cock" as in rooster. Which might be even worse. And takes more duct tape to avoid a damn mess. Has lead to interesting nights.

It looks fantastic. Not a fan of the stretch, but everything else was done very well. Bet it will get tons of attention.

A bike that looks that nice deserves a better exhaust though. Is that still on the list?

I'm still playing with ideas for the exhaust. I don't want anything that will take away from the bike. Something discreet but sounds good.

Re: My Project GSXR is DONE! For now.

Needs a high mount exhaust. All bikes need high mounts. May not be very discrete that way though.

Do the M4 slipon. Sounds INSANE and looks great too.

I did it on my K3 pictured below. Had to use a K6 header because no one makes shorties for anything older than K6s. After $10k in paint, I didn't want that huge Yoshi that I had on it before. I wanted a sleek, low profile look that didn't take away from the theme of the bike.

How did you get 04/05 fairing on there?? Do they just bolt up? (im guessing not)

They do kind of line up. I used fiberglass ones and sanded them a bit to line up with the frame. Then I made my own mounting brackets and self tapped the frame to secure them. A little bit of work but I'm happy with the out come. I welded the tail subframe and and did the front like everyone else does.

You had to drill and tap your frame to get them to line up?

Yes where ever the side fairings mounting holes were, they didn't match where the original mounting spots are. So I drilled a small hole and used a tap set to thread it and used factory bolts to secure them. This way everything looked factory.
