Re: The $hit You See on Craigslist...

Huh. Seems in decent shape, from the outside. It hasn't been cornered very hard since those tires were put on; hopefully it didn't get those scuffs from an apprentice stunter...

I know diddly about ECU/electrical problems- if it doesn't make a funny noise, I'm hopeless.

Also, that stainless street fightin' 600, with half the ass chopped off? He's asking two hundred more than I paid for mine clean and complete, with 24k on it. Good f'ing luck.

Last, but not least, a question about the Big Bloo with spikes: Why put a GPS on a machine that isn't road worthy?

Is it because the builder gets lost in his driveway?

Welp, about to piss on over to the KLR adventure forum due to a change of steed. When I can afford a good GSX-R, I'll be back- I don't have time for fixing rat bikes anymore.

Re: The $hit You See on Craigslist...

what the? thats twice what it cost new? then it needs to be gone through, brakes, lines, carbs, everything, paper gaskets? meh

is the GS1100e really a collector bike?

maybe he thinks its the Katana?

an 82 Katana in that shape would prolly yield $7k...

i have a jeep like that.... only mine looks to be in a hell of a lot better shape. Who in their right mind would put LAMBO doors on jeep haha dumbbbbbbb. They live out in Arizona, should have put a 3.5" lift and tires on it and it wouldve been sold arleady.

My father had that exact bike, though his was suppose to have had a 5 angle valve job and didn't like pump gas, he sold it with 73K on it so that one should be good for say another 70K oddly enough there is one here for sale with 38k for 2 grand and it's been up for a few months and won't likely sell i was asking about the same for an 85 GS1150 with about the same mileage and i still have it....

While the 1150E has more potent motor, it's looks leave something to be desired for me.
The 1100E is a better looking bike. (i.m.o.)
