Hey
My clutch on my gsxr 7/11W racebike starts to slip at WOT from about 8K rpm. My clutch lever is properly adjusted.
So i decided to remove the clutch for inspection.
Now i have come to a deadend, i havent been able to remove the 50mm big nut that holds the diapgrahm springs.
First i tried by putting the bike in 1st gear and apllying the rear brake, no succes.
Then i made a tool that holds the pressure plate so that the axle is directly blocked, no succes.
My wrench is about 80-100cm long, i reckon thats enough leverage no?
I have red the you need a impact to remove the nut becaus it is pleened in, what does pleened even mean (locktite on the threads or what?)?
Even a more important question, what kind of thread is it?
The normal one where left is loosing and right is tighten or is it the other type thread?
Please respond only if you know this for SURE.
the manual was very vague about this, it certainly didnt mention the direction of turning (just show some kind of blocking tool and a wrench).
Searching the forum here was not really a help.
I dont want to risk breaking the nut, the thread on the axle or something worse.
Greetings,
Benjamin
