Re: SUZUKI GT750 Warter Cooled 2 stroke

No, She not Blond.
The RE5 was and still is a cool bike, along way ahead of its time, that made it a flop.
The RE5 has an exhaust tone all of it own, abit like 10 B&S lawm mower motors reving in sequence.

Re: SUZUKI GT750 Warter Cooled 2 stroke

How did this huge GT750 thread end up in the oil cooled GSX-R section ?
How come other people also have a combined GT/GSX-R experience ?

Anyway, you may enjoy my GT750 restoration pages,
see the link below.

Re: SUZUKI GT750 Warter Cooled 2 stroke

When you are old like Peter and me (High fourty's / low Fifty's) the bike you rode as kids stick in you memorys.
My first big road bike was a GT250 and GT750's and RE5's were still available new, suzuki didn't make 4 strokes back than.

How do I add a picture? did a search and got nowhere:confused

Speak for yourselves... I'm still young at 48

With the new forum, you use that thing called 'manage attachments' where you can upload pics... You'll see the attachment listed below after. Don't do anything with it, but it's just included in your post. Doesn't show when you preview, or at least it didn't for me this morning... :confuzzled:

Other way is to host them somewhere else, like photobucket.com, and just insert the link they give you (img tags)

Like this... desktop shot from my new Tourist Trophy game.

Re: SUZUKI GT750 Warter Cooled 2 stroke

Sometime in the future I am going to put a GT750 engine in a 1Gen GSXR chassis. right after I finish the 5 GSXR's I am working on now and get the DR800 engine in the TZR250 chassis .

The racing/modified version is even 'funner' to ride... notice the no. 1 plate I earned for it?
