Hey guys, after i broke a spark plug in the heads today and removed the valve covers and all, fixed everything up and now i reassembled everything but this pesky screw.
Any idea how to get it in ? It seems theres a little retainer insider that tends to move alot making it imoossible for me to get the screw in, please dont tell me i have to take everything apart again now !
Thanks down south but thats not my engine, i took the pic from the net because i left for work and didnt take a picture of mine anyway isnt there any other way than removing the cover again ?
Getting the coils/ht leads out of the way, shifting the bits of loom to one side and removing the breather tower makes it slightly better for sliding the cam cover off . . still a pain but making space helps. Always check the valve clearances at the same time - another job done, ready for next year - that'll be 2 jobs done and dusted.
yep thats done already and she's back to normal, didn't remove coils but i did take out the carbs which made it a piece of cake, only time consuming and delicate job.
thanks for your input tho i have yet to fire her up
