Cammotion / Yoshimura Cam Specs ?

Yo Dudes

I'm after some info regarding Cam Motion G21X and the Yoshimura 'Stg 2' SURX162 cams for the Oil cooled GSXR engine

Does anyone know the 'specs' of these cams ? The numbers i'm after are ;
Max. valve lift
Duration
Lobe centre angles
Or any other info regarding these particlular grinds .

Even better , has anyone had any actual experience of either ( or both ! ) of these cams ?
What kind of power / torque did they give in your application ? ( and what was it ?)
How would you compare them to other performance cams ( or the stock ones !)
What LCA's did you time them in at & with what results ?
have you got any other comments regarding these particular cams ?

Any info you cloud give would be much appreciated

thanks

Lee

(Just for background information )
One of these grinds may be going into a new motor i'm building for my 7/11 . The basic specs of the new motor are - 1340 cc big block running 12:1 ( ish ! ) Compression , flowed head with big inlet & ex valves , RS38's & yoshi duplex system .Use will be mainly fast road with the odd foray up the 1/4 mile.

Re: Cammotion / Yoshimura Cam Specs ?

Thanks for your input so far dudes .
Ok then , I've managed to establish (most) of the specs of these two cams

Cammotion G21x 0.380" Lift 250° Duration 110°LCA 15/55°/55°/15° timing

Yoshimura SUXR162 INLET 0.393" Lift 252°Duration
Yoshimura SUXR162 EXHAUST 0.335" Lift 245° Duration

My first question is , Like this Cammotion grind , All the other aftermarket cams I've seen ( Megacycle / Kent / Piper / Web etc ) almost always use the same profile & lift for both IN & EX . The Yoshi ones use a different profile for IN & EX - much like the original Suzuki Ones. What advantages / disadvantages are there to this ? Is there any reasoning behind it .

Secondly the exhaust profile of the Yoshi Stg 2 cams is virtually the same as the stock cam from an '88 750 , but the inlet is significantly 'hotter' , with even more lift than the G21x . Again , What advantages / disadvantages are there to this ? Is there any reasoning behind it ?.

I'd still like some feedback from anyone with any 'real world' experience of either of these grinds , and your opinions on which one would suit my particular application the 'best' .What are the 'characteristics' of these cams - what effect would they have on power & torque ?

Cheers guys

Lee

Re: Cammotion / Yoshimura Cam Specs ?

you would think the best one to ask about the cams my be gsxr12161216
i know milder intake and hotter exhaust would help torque and still help house power like putting just the exhaust cam in a bandit 12 motor
also differant profiles for intake and exhaust is good in a nitrous motor but i dont remember off hand why
