What i heard on the video sounds mostly like valve clearance. All GSXR oilers are quite noisy. Getting the valves and carbs (cleaned, float hight adjusted, synchronized) right plus making sure cam tensioner is working right will help to some extent but at idle it will never be silent.
If you're thinking about a rebuild you can do the routine maintanance first and see if that helps, you'll have to do that anyway. Service the carbs thouroughly. And setting valve clearance is not that big a deal. I'ld try that first, along with new oil and filter.
