Hi

Hey All, new to the site.

Back in 1992, my first bike was a 1986 GSXR 1100. A little bit much for a first bike, but I made it a year with it as my only transportation before I traded it for a Chevy truck. Still wish I had that bike. Have had several sport bikes.. '95 900 RR, '89 GSXR 1100, 2005 R6 and currently have an 07 Aprilia RSV1000R.. but never lost the desire to ride my old '86.

Just wanted to say Howdy. I will be picking this up next week. It was setup for track, but the seller is helping me convert back to street use. Cannot WAIT.

I split time between my apt in N Austin which is right behind Fry's off Parmer, and S Austin at my gf's house off Stassney. It JUST got a lil too cold really to ride much, here. Weather still good there?

Fry's? Down by Opal Divine's?

Weather is great, 75-80 and sunny most of the time - but there are NO turns here at all and traffic sucks so I left my bike with a friend in Austin until I get back

I'll be back for a visit in late February or early March, maybe for MotoGP in April too - and probably move back for good in June or so

I have an '03 750 there, project bike that I bought for nothing and brought back to life

Very cool. How could I forget about MotoGP!? A lot of us here are still a little shocked that we even got the track..

Anyway.. SWEET! Awesome to meet you SVS! Can't wait for it to warm up.. probably April before it starts getting back to short sleeves everyday. What the heck do you do for $$? If I may be so bold as to ask.

I'm in short sleeves till we get into the 40's! Everyone thinks I'm crazy, maybe they are right but I'm Nordic hot blooded. On nights like we currently have, I sleep with the door open and two fans going. It will get into the 30's in my bedroom at night and I sleep soooo well!
